EAST LONDON LADIES' cemented their three-point lead at the top of Essex Women's Hockey Division One at the half-way point in the season.
After a goalless first half, strikes from Lucy Bigham and Sophie Hollington, were enough for victory.

EAST LONDON's men lost only their second game of the season away at struggling Havering at the weekend.

As the away side pushed for a winner, Havering struck twice in quick succession, before Kevin Taylor notched a consolation.
n EAST LONDON seconds thrashed Witham thirds 9-0 thanks to four goals from Rob Rouse.
