TO what lengths will a good man go to get justice?

Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx star in tense, edge-of-your-seat thriller, LAW ABIDING CITIZEN (18).

Clyde Shelton is an honest, upstanding family man. Nick Rae is an ambitious young prosecutor working to make Philadelphia safer.

When Clyde's wife and young daughter are brutally murdered, Nick is assigned to the case. On the verge of sentencing, he sensationally makes a deal with one of the killers, sparing him from the death penalty.

Ten years later, the man who got away with murder is found dead.

Clyde coolly admits his guilt, before issuing a warning to Nick - either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will pay the price.

Nick now finds himself in a desperate race against time as a series of elaborate assassinations target the ranks of the city's justice system.

Only he can stop the killings and to do so, he must outwit a brilliant adversary who always seems to be one step ahead.

Written by Kurt Wimmer, who also wrote the screenplays for 1999's The Thomas Crown Affair starring Pierce Brosnan, and 2003's The Recruit, starring Colin Farrell and Al Pacino, this is directed by F Gary Gray, who is better known for directing music videos.
