AN 85-year-old amateur dramatics society is performing a creepy Victorian thriller.
The Woodford Operatic and Dramatic Society, established in1924, is staging Gaslight by Patrick Hamilton, which is set in the 1880s at the time of Jack the Ripper.
The main parts are being played by Jay Berry, Jim Noon and Dave Bennett - who were all winners at the recent Kenny awards.
The play will be performed at the Kenneth More Theatre, Oakfield Road, Ilford from Thursday, March 26 until Saturday, March 28.
