FORMER O's boss Martin Ling is back in management with Cambridge United.
The 43-year-old was appointed manager of the Blue Square Premier side on Monday and signed a three-year deal.
Ling said: "For me to go from the Football League to the Conference, it had to be a club that could progress back into the league and go through into Leagues Two and One."
O's midfielder Jason Demetriou said: "It's great news. I'm glad he is back in football. He did a lot to progress my career.
