DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE have swooped to sign midfielder Doug Loft from League One Brighton on loan until the end of the season.
Loft, 22, has been on the fringes of the Seagulls first team this season, making nine appearances, but manager Micky Adams has allowed him to move to Victoria Road.
Daggers boss John Still was thrilled to capture the former England Schoolboy international.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have signed Doug, he's someone that I have wanted to get for a while," said the boss.
"I watched him a few times last season and I spoke to Micky Adams at various times about him. Micky and I have kept in touch and although Doug's not always been included in their starting line-up, he's been on the bench.
"I'm delighted that I've been able to bring him to the club.
