London Underground strikes planned

Tube drivers are planning a series of strikes due to start this month, a union has announced.

Around 1,500 drivers voted to strike over the “unfair” sacking of two colleagues, said the Rail Maritime and Transport Union.

It said the first strike was would take place on May 16, with another five before the end of June.
