Two women killed in Dagenham fire

Two women have died in a fire at a home in Dagenham this morning.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called the blaze in a second-floor maisonette in Bradwell Avenue at 7.26am.
Three men, a woman and two children had already managed to escape from the property, but sadly two women were declared dead at the scene.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus rescued a child and three adults from a neighbouring flat.
The fire was brought under control by 9.48am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
