A MAN was taken to hospital with back injuries after a rush hour crash in Valence Avenue, Dagenham, this morning (Friday).
The crash involved a Volkswagen van and a Peugeot at 8.35am.
Medics treated the 33-year-old by immobilising his neck with a collar and the car was removed by a retrieval team.

Police did not close roads but redirected traffic around the crash scene at the junction with Kemp Road.
