A man will be sentenced after pleading guilty to exposing himself outside a primary school.

David Hallas exposed himself in view of an adult in Connor Road, Dagenham, outside St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School at 7.42am on April 25.

The 48-year-old, who lives in Bennetts Castle Lane, Dagenham, was arrested a short time later and taken to hospital for a psychological assessment.

Hallas was charged with indecent exposure the following day and pleaded guilty at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on April 27.

He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 20.

St Joseph’s Catholic School said they would not comment on the incident because it did not happen on school land.

But according to a resident parents were sent letters about the matter.
