Doctors celebrated a decade in their current premises by unveiling a minor surgery suite.
Mayor Eileen Keller cut the ribbon on the new room in Church Elm Health Centre in Dagenham to mark 10 years since Dr Goyal and Associates moved into the Church Elm Lane building.
Practice owner Dr Mina Goyal, who joined in 2004, said Thursday’s event was a chance to look back with pride at the surgery’s work.
“I have an amazing and wonderful team,” she said. “Everybody’s really pulled together and it’s lovely to see that hard work come together for something positive with our minor surgery suite.”
Dr Goyal says the suite, which cost about £25,000, will offer care under local anaesthetic to patients across the borough in what she hopes will lead to at least another decade of success.
