A MEMORIAL bench has been put up in memory of a Dagenham man who was killed alongside his girlfriend in a car accident.
Phil Gosling, 20, of Gay Gardens, and Sam Stafford, 21, of Suttons Lane, Hornchurch, died last year after the collision in Hornchurch Road.
One year on friends and relatives have installed the bench near the crash site in front of Hornchurch Sports Centre.
The inscription reads: "In loving memory of Sam Stafford and Phil Gosling. A beautiful life. A sudden end. Their love will always be in our hearts.
