ILFORD AC'S Walking Section competitor Micky Sutton will attempt to complete the National 100-mile race at Newmarket's Rowley Mile racecourse for the first time on Sunday.
Ilford will have a quartet of athletes on the card, but Sutton is attempting to complete the distance having previously fallen short in 2007 at Battersea Park.
Experienced Olly Browne, Kevin Marshall and second-claimer Ed Shillabeer will all be confident of further success over this epic distance.
Steve Allen will be among a number of club members who will be appearing in supporting events over lesser distances.
