THE COUNCIL is set to spend a further 200,000 improving Dagenham Heathway after a string of complaints about the recent regeneration work.
The plans, which went before the executive last night (March 24), include adding greenery and colour to the area (hanging baskets and/or trees in planters) and covering the Heathway's central strip with tarmac to stop people thinking it's meant for parking.
To find out if the proposal was approved read next week's Executive.
