YOUNG hooligans have been spotted throwing stones at moving traffic along the A13, near Goresbrook Leisure Complex in Dagenham.
Stones and even rocks were lobbed at cars heading east towards Thurrock and Lakeside last week.
This dangerous behaviour has also been reported by motorists in Longbridge Road, Becontree Avenue and Lodge Avenue, at the Robin Hood junction.
The culprits, aged 10 - 14 years, usually hurl the stones between 5 and 8.30pm.
Police have warned that if this behaviour continues it is only a matter of time before someone is injured or even killed.
If the youngsters are caught parents could face a hefty damages bill from the victims and the youngsters will be arrested and may be jailed.
