Muslims will be walking through Barking and Ilford tonight as a mark of solidarity with the family of murdered soldier Lee Rigby.

The 25-year-old was stabbed to death in a street attack in Woolwich on May 22.

The demonstration this evening is being organised by the Association of British Muslims.

It will begin at 5pm in front of the Barking driving test centre in Fanshawe Avenue, Barking, and head up to Ilford Lane to the Sainsbury’s superstore for 7pm.

At the end point there will be speeches from Leicester East MP Keith Vaz and other speakers.

The solidarity walk is open to anyone wishing to join.
