Viewers have been praising a “dangerously addictive” Netflix show with a plot twist many “didn’t see coming”.
His & Hers has had many of its viewers staying up through the night to binge all its episodes.
Starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, His & Hers is described as an American mystery thriller.
The TV show is based on the book of the same name that was released in 2020 and written by Alice Feeney.
What is His & Hers about?
The show follows Anna, played by Thompson, a former news anchor who lives alone after withdrawing from her personal life and her career.
After overhearing the news about a murder in her hometown of Dahlonega, she returns there to investigate the incident.
She often clashes with her estranged husband, Detective Jack Harper, played by Bernthal, who has been assigned to the case and is suspicious of Anna’s involvement.
What did viewers think of His & Hers?
Many viewers of the show have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the programme.
The series has been talked about extensively on TikTok and was even mentioned by singer Cat Burns.
She said the twist at the end “really got her” and she “had to pause” the show after it was revealed.
One person in the r/Netflix Reddit thread said: “The cast was the best! Priya Patel character was so good.
"And the jaw-dropping twist at the end! Oh man they cooked!”
