Strictly Come Dancing fans have criticised the "ridiculously harsh" scoring of one pair in Week 5 of the 2026 series.
Following Icons Week, the celebrities and their professional dance partners were hoping to impress the judges and viewers with their latest routines.
One of the first routines of the night saw actor Lawrence Robb and his partner Jowita Przystał dance the Jive to The Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim.
However, the judges were not impressed, pointing out several mistakes in the dance, which saw it score a low 19 points out of a possible 40.
Strictly fans criticise "ridiculously harsh" scoring of Lawrence Robb
Taking to X, several Strictly Come Dancing fans found the scoring to be unfair, saying the feedback went too far.
One person posted: "That was ridiculously harsh on Lawrence.
"Zero need to humiliate someone like that.
"He will get my vote because of it."
Another said: "I genuinely didn’t see that mistake Lawrence did?
"Am I blind?
A third wrote: "just me that didn’t think Lawrence was THAT bad??"
Meanwhile, one shared: "The Judges should remember Lawrence Robb is a big lad, not really built for dancing.
"But heyho, the whole of Scotland will vote for him anyway."
Not everyone felt the same though, as one said: "100% respect that Lawrence is really trying and giving his all.
"That jive wasn't great though - it's fitting the clocks are going back tonight because his kicks and flicks were in a different time zone to Jowita's."
Who left Strictly Come Dancing last week?
In Icons Week, Dame Sarah Storey and her professional partner Julian Caillon were the latest to be knocked out of Strictly's 2026 series.
The pair came bottom of the leaderboard and had to go against Bethany Antonia and her partner Nancy Xu in the dance-off.
In the end, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke opted to save Antonia, meaning head judge Shirley Ballas did not need to use her deciding vote.
That meant Paralympian Storey was eliminated from the competition.
Speaking after her elimination to BBC presenter Abi Clarke on spin-off show, Strictly: Lights Up, Storey shared: "We [her and Caillon] said to each other backstage, you’ve just got to take on board those comments and put them into practice immediately, and so, that’s what we did.
“I’m also disappointed that I don’t get to bring it on Monday to try and do the same again.”
