AN OUTSTANDING student who has never missed a day of teaching in her life has been awarded by her school. Charlotte Deacon, 16, has just finished Year 11 at Robert Clack School in Gosfield Road, Dagenham, and received their £100 prize for full attendance.

AN OUTSTANDING student who has never missed a day of teaching in her life has been awarded by her school.

Charlotte Deacon, 16, has just finished Year 11 at Robert Clack School in Gosfield Road, Dagenham, and received their £100 prize for full attendance.

She said: "There's no point in missing something that is important to learn. If I get ill it's usually at weekends or holidays.

"I always look forward to lessons and to learning new things and meeting my friends."

During her time at Grafton Junior School, Charlotte has inspired an award which is given to every class with full attendance.

She moved to Benfleet in March, but is hoping to return to Robert Clack in the future.

She said: "I want to be a PE.teacher. I want to come back and teach here.
