WEST HAM unveiled their new home kit for the 2009-10 season and it was immediately met with mixed reviews by the fans.
The new strip seems to hark back to the late 1980s, with a chequer board design on the front in claret.
The most significant difference to the new kit though is the absence of blue sleeves.
There are light blue stripes at the shoulders and cuffs, but the traditional sleeves have been replaced by claret ones.
Actor and West Ham fan Ray Winstone helped the club launch the new strip on Monday and he professed to liking it, but West Ham fans will vote with their pockets as to whether they are prepared to buy one.
Mind you, at least it hasn't got that hideous patch that the team sported on their shirt last year!
