New meeting time for Skyride

THE MAYOR of London s annual bike ride will leave Barking train station at 10am this Sunday and not 8am as earlier announced. The free event, called the Skyride, will see the city centre closed to traffic as thousands of cyclists take over the streets.

THE MAYOR of London's annual bike ride will leave Barking train station at 10am this Sunday and not 8am as earlier announced.

The free event, called the Skyride, will see the city centre closed to traffic as thousands of cyclists take over the streets.

After leaving Barking riders, accompanied by marshals, will join the main cycle route which takes in landmarks such as Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and St Paul's Cathedral.
