A REVOLUTIONARY new community TV project is set to launch in the borough at the end of the year.

The project will focus on providing information about initiatives, local services and emergency messages to residents, which could include missing persons alerts.

As part of the project, 20 TV screens will be set up in public areas from shopping centres to council offices and police stations and even fast food restaurants.

The joint venture between the PCT and the council is aimed at informing and encouraging more engagement for local issues from the community.

Details of the project will be discussed over coming weeks.

Anyone with suggestions for initiatives should contact Helen.Butler@lbbd.gov.uk
