The A13 is gridlocked between Wennington and Barking this morning.
Some westbound lanes have been closed following an accident at the Goresbrook Interchange.
There are expected delays of over one hour and the surrounding roads are also heavily congested.
Emergency services are on scene dealing with the collision.
