HOUSEHOLDERS in Dagenham fear a new housing development will mean more disturbances from heavy vehicles travelling past their homes.

Pensioners and families living in the residential street say they have had to put with the noise caused by lorries for years.

But soon a nearby area of wasteland will be given a complete facelift, with 600 new homes being built, generating even more traffic.
