PRESENTED in association with The South African State Theatre, the Theatre Royal Stratford East stages Foreplay, a new play about the insatiable desire for sex.
Hot off a world tour for its only UK performances, Foreplay is definitely not for children or the easily offended.
Three years ago Paul Grootboom's Township Stories stunned audiences with its raw energy, great soundtrack and dark humour.
Foreplay includes many of the same wonderful cast from South Africa and is in turns shocking, beautiful, poignant and very funny.
It opens at the theatre in Gerry Raffles Square, Stratford, on Friday and runs until June 13. Performances are Tues-Sat 7.30pm.
There is a 3pm matinee on June 13. Tickets range from 12 to 20.
