Nineties nostalgia flooded Dagenham at the weekend as Now That’s a Festival made a proud return.

Around 13,000 people flocked to Central Park to see Blue, B*Witched, Damage and Dane Bowers belt out the bangers.

Thanks to high profile help from Love Island’s Marcel Sommerville, Blazin’ Squad walked onstage to wild screams and shouts from the excited crowd.

The TV show has fuelled a late career revival for the Chingford hip hop group, with seven of the original 10 band members set to reunite this November for a special gig at KOKO in London.

Headline act Blue, who have brushed off their disappointing 2011 Eurovision performance, made a crowd-pleasing return to Dagenham with hits like Fly By and U Make Me Wanna.

Friday saw the festival’s inaugural grime night, with headliners DJ Luck & MC Neat keeping the crowd on their feet.
