Twelve talented Dagenham dancers have stars in their eyes after securing pantomime roles that will see them share the stage with Boyzone’s Shane Lynch and Dancing on Ice star Jeff Brazier.

The girls, from Inspirations School of Performing Arts, are set to feature in three of this year’s festive offerings, including the Broadway Theatre’s interpretation of Peter Pan.

Seven-year-old Emmi Golding will be travelling all the way to Gravesend’s Woodville Theatre to perform in Aladdin, while 12-year-olds Amie Kaba and Cheyenne Francis will be joining Georgia Jackson, 10, and Skye Mead, 13, in Snow White at Grays’ Thameside Theatre.

Ten-year-olds Jessie Harrison, Ella Scott and Natasha Mugisha will be treading the floorboards much closer to home in Barking alongside Georgia Wassell, 11, Goda Urnazaite, 14, Skyla Thorpe, 12, and Sidnie Nunn, eight,

Principal Jordon Spicer said: “We’re really proud of the girls and for most of them, it’s their first time doing it.

“I’ll be going to a lot of pantomimes this year.”
