WEST HAM midfielder Conor Okus underlined his potential with a goal in Saturday's Academy draw with Crystal Palace.
It meant back-to-back draws for the Hammers, who finished 3-3 with Southampton last week, but this was a more controlled performance.
Okus who has been tipped for more exposure with the first team squad this season, is just back from injury, and he showed that he is raring to go.
He linked with Cristian Montano to give West Ham the lead, only for Palace to grab an equaliser on the hour, while the Hammers were down to 10-men with defender Paco Craig off the field.
This weekend they travel to Portsmouth.
