LUKE SUMMERFIELD and Andros Townsend return to the Orient squad for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Hereford United.

The duo were refused permission by their parent clubs to play in Saturday's FA Cup clash at Tranmere - but are eligible to play tonight.

The pair with strengthen manager Geraint Williams' options in midfield and he said: "There is no reason why we can't play them as their parent clubs do not play in this competition."

Competition rules state that O's must play six of the 11 players who have featured most for the club this season, to stop sides fielding weakened sides.

But defender Tamika Mkandawire and midfielder Adam Chambers are likely to miss out because of injury.

The game kicks off at 7pm, with a place in the Southern Area semi-final at stake for the winners.
