With reference to Mrs M Edwards's letter regarding the paintings of the 'Withdrawal from Dunkirk' and 'Job Drain' which used to hang in Barking Library.
When the paintings were removed from the old library they were taken to the borough's museum at Valence House, which itself is now undergoing refurbishments.
We are currently making arrangements for the picture of Job Drain to be displayed in the Barking Town Hall to complement the statue of Job recently unveiled outside the Broadway Theatre.
