A police community support officer accused of sharing child porn with a paedophile will stand trial later this year.
Daniel Cotham, 24, is said to have encouraged convicted pervert Thomas Hayes, 23, to email him photos of nude boys in an internet chatroom.
The officer, suspended from his role with Redbridge Police in Ilford, was cleared of two charges of possessing child porn and two counts of downloading indecent photos of children at Snaresbrook Crown Court earlier this month.
Judge Peter Birts QC set a trial date of September 18.
Cotham, of Dagenham, denies incitement to distribute indecent photographs of a child.
