GOALKEEPER Robert Green was furious following Hull's controversial penalty on Saturday at Hull City, and not just because it was a terrible decision by referee Mark Clattenburg.
As Jimmy Bullard readied himself to take the kick, Bernard Mendy seemed to be doing something similar, before both ran towards the ball almost at the same time.
Defender Danny Gabbidon takes up the story: "I think Robert said after the game, he wasn't really sure who was going to take the penalty because Mendy was running right behind Bullard, so maybe he was a bit late going for it.

Gabbidon was even more strident in his views about the awarding of the spot kick: "As a defender you get a bit angry with them because the striker is backing in and you are just trying to head the ball.
