Police are continuing to appeal for information after an elderly couple were assaulted by two burglars in their own home.
Ali Mohammed, 84, and Sugra Begum, 77, were at their home in Wilmington Gardens, Barking, on April 17, when two men in balaclavas forced their way into the house,
The couple were kicked, punched and seized by the throat, during the attack.
A watch and pair of glasses were stolen during the burglary.
The suspects ran from the house into Longbridge Road.
They were dressed in black and wore balaclavas and gloves, which would have stood out on a warm Friday afternoon.
There has been no arrest at this stage.
