DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE expect to tie up the loan signing of Portsmouth youngster Marlon Pack in time for Saturday's trip to Torquay United.
The 18-year-old midfielder has already had a spell with League One Wycombe Wanderers this season, where he made nine appearances before manager Peter Taylor was sacked and new boss Gary Waddock opted against continuing the deal.
"He's a good player and we want to have a good look at him," said Daggers assistant manager Terry Harris.
"He is a bit different to Tom Kilbey who we had on loan earlier in the season, as he is more in the Stuart Thurgood mould, where he is happy to sit in front of the defence and play the ball.
"He's a good size, six foot two and did well at Wycombe, so hopefully everything will be completed in time for Torquay."
