A 14-YEAR-OLD boy and a man, accused of murdering Danny Leahy at a Barking pub on Easter Monday, were remanded in custody yesterday (Monday).
Jason Michaels, 39, of Hewetts Quay, Abbey Road, Barking, and the boy, also from Barking, are accused of killing of 45-year-old Mr Leahy at the Victoria pub in Axe Street.
They are also charged with grievous bodily harm against a 49-year-old man at the Victoria the same day and GBH against a 29-year-old man at the same pub on February 14.
The pair appeared in custody at Barking Magistrates' Court.
The case has been transferred to the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, May 5. A plea and direction hearing is scheduled at the same court on Monday, July 27.
