Newham's Gendai-ryu karate club picked up no less than 12 medals including six golds in the latest round of karate league action in Ilford.
First places were earned by Joshua Sommerville in the individual and the team kata, while Elizabeth Le Port won the individual event and silver in the team kata, while Lamarr Smith won the individual and the team kata.
Jihan Saeed won a silver in both individual and team kata, while Jess Polland captured second in individual and gold in the team kata.
Cora Polland recieved silver in both individual and team kata, Jasmine Bouri came second in the individual kata and Pirithi Vetrivel captured silver in the individual kata.
