A BLAZE damaged three lorries, a trailer, a digger and various other pieces of equipment at a sand and gravel works in Chadwell Heath on Saturday.

Thirty firefighters spent four hours putting out flames at Marks Warren Quarry, Whalebone Lane North.

Fire investigators are today (Monday) probing the cause of the blaze.
