RAGTIME, the acclaimed musical, gets its Kenneth More Theatre premiere on Wednesday.
Forest Musical Productions brings the story of three groups in America - a wealthy family, a poor Jewish immigrant and his daughter, and a Harlem musician named Coalhouse Walker - whose lives unexpectedly intertwine. Performances, Wednesday, to Saturday, including a signed performance on Thursday, at the theatre in Oakfield Road, Ilford.
The rich compelling score mixes marches, cakewalks, gospel and, of course, ragtime. Performances at 7.45pm, with a Saturday matinee at 3pm.
