RAIN RUINED any chance of a result between Stratford Wesleyans and Balham Roamers on Saturday.
Wesleyans lost the toss and were promptly asked to bowl, but Tony Keep had instant success, removing opener Saunders in his first over.
The Roamers batting line-up then all produced solid knocks, as all bar two of them reached double figures.
Joe Keep proved to be the pick of the Stratford attack, taking 3-13 from three overs, while his father Tony managed 3-34 from seven.
Roamers ended on 170 all out, and a rain break saw Stratford have to bat on a wet track.
Once D Cockley and J Bronka were out without scoring, Tony Bowers madee his way to 17 before he also went.
