A VICIOUS Japanese Akita that attacked and mauled two other dogs has been removed from its owners by police.
Officers from Longbridge safer neighbourhood team and the RSPCA seized the dangerous animal last week after concerns were raised by other dog owners.
Duncan Murray and Kay Conway called the police after their pets were savaged by the massive Akita right before their eyes.
The POST reported that Kay's Labrador, Brooklyn, was attacked in November and Duncan's tiny Shitzu, Chubby, was mauled last month.
Both dogs were out walking in Barking Park and received serious injuries. Their owners were left badly shaken by the ordeal.
