CHILDREN from Rush Green School nursery won first place in a road safety collage competition.
The youngsters were presented with a toy car they can drive, two puppets, baseball caps and umbrellas.
They received their prizes at Barking Learning Centre on March 6 where the kids met Councillor Val Rush.
The competition was open to pre-schoolers who had to create road safety themed collages using a variety of materials.
Second place winners received a zebra crossing, two puppets, baseball caps, and umbrellas and the third place prize was two puppets, baseball caps and umbrellas.
All nurseries and pre-schools who took part in the competition won a Letters in the snow book with a DVD, and lollipop man book.
All entries are on display in the Children's Library at the Barking Learning Centre.
