TWO DEDICATED nurses have marked 40 years of working for the NHS in Romford.
Diane Webber and Margo McFarlane started together at Oldchurch hospital in 1969.
And they are still side by side today - Diane is Matron for Intensive Care at Queen's and King George and Margo is Matron for Queen's A&E.
The pair trained together and lived together for three years as student nurses.
Both Matrons have said they love their jobs and have enjoyed working for NHS trust enormously.
