WOODFORD Golf Club's Vice President's Trophy was at stake at the weekend and produced some gripping action.
Competitors had to have a handicap of 17 and over in order to qualify, and recently-joined member Ron Roast won the prize with a score of 32 stableford points, two ahead of Dave Warden.
Committee member Stephen Bland was third.
