Sadiq Khan to fund 109 Dagenham trees with more than £20k

Sadiq Khan has pledged to plant 109 trees as part of his drive for a greener capital.
The mayor of London will put 57 trees in Valence Avenue, Dagenham, and another 52 in Valence nearby Valence Park.
The planting was announced on Friday at the GLA offered a grant of £20,945 to the scheme.
The move is part of a London-wide project backed by £750,000 in GLA funding.
