I NOTE from your newspaper that having made Heathway Shopping area a more pedestrian friendly place the council is now proposing to spend �200,000 because motorists refuse to play by the rules and insist on parking where they should not.
The council policy seems to be to give in to the law breakers instead of ensuring that they park correctly.
Some time ago the council closed the alley between Venables Close and Oxlow Lane despite the submission of over 100 signature petition to keep the alleyway open.
May I call on the council to; not waste �200,000 because of law breaking motorists; reopen the ally between Oxlow Lane and Venables.
