Phantoms were crushed by Brightlingsea after producing a display that lacked cohesion at the weekend.
The visitors quickly went 17-0 ahead as they spread the ball wide at every opportunity, but Phantoms had two tries disallowed as they tried to get back in the game.
After the break, Brightlingsea upped their game and began scoring tries at will.

Phantoms did grow into the game late on though and got their reward when Matt Hopgood went over and David Yems converted.
This served only to fire Brightlingsea into action and they proceeded to score a number of broken field tries to earn a massive win.
Skipper Yems said: "It was a difficult game with a much-changed team and I think in many ways that was the difference.
"Our defence has been a feature of our play this season and today it wasn't up to scratch, we go back to the drawing board in training.
