The costumed fun will mark World Book Day, the annual event to highlight the importance of children reading and loving books.

Students across Barking and Dagenham will come to school dressed as their favourite fictional character.

Here at the Post we will be collecting your pictures for World Book Day, either taken at school or at home, so your great costumes can be featured in your local paper.

Send your pictures to adam.barnett@archant.co.uk or post them on our Facebook page.
