Archant

There are serious delays on the A13 after an earlier car fire.

The fire happened in Ripple Road at Choats Manor Way earlier this morning.

A westbound lane is still closed at the junction of the Goresbrook Interchange for resurfacing damages from the fire, and traffic is queueing down to Marsh Way in Rainham.

A fire engine was on the scene after the fire left smoke blowing across the road.
