THE BREATHE Easy charity were at Tesco in Barking last week giving lung capacity tests to smokers.

A support group for people coping with lung disease and breathing problems, Breathe Easy showed their support for national Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Volunteers spoke to shoppers on Thursday November 20 and offered them the test which shows how well lungs are working.

The day, organised by Sue Matthews and other volunteers, was a huge success in raising awareness of how much smoking can affect breathing.
