An argument between two women turned into violent hair pulling that injured one at a shopping mall.

The victim, 17, from Barking was left with a “lump to her head”, according to police.

The violent incident followed a verbal altercation between the teenager and another woman at Lakeside shopping centre, Thurrock, Essex, at about 7pm on September 3.

The suspected assailant was with a man who pulled her off the victim during the attack, said police.

Officers say they want to speak with two people shown in CCTV images as part of their investigation. Anyone who recognises them or has further information is asked to contact Pc Jen Gray on 101 or Crimstoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
