Daggers come from 2-0 down to beat Aldershot 3-2

Thanks for joining me tonight and we now go on to Grimsby at home on Saturday.

That was some second half from the visitors, the players are naturally delighted, there is a lot of love out there.

They go to the fans, who rise to their heroes, if you would like to make a comment email: mike.simmonds@archant.co.uk

FULL TIME - Daggers somehow have taken all three points here after they went 2-0 down

Yellow for Thomas as he dived in when Daggers could have won a corner.

Last sub for Shots, Soares on for Straker - cries of have you lost it to the Shots boss, a slight change of tune from earlier.

Four minutes to be added.

Bozanic slipped a lovely ball through but Hudson with so much time, chipped the ball over the bar, apalling cross, but Daggers wont care at all.

Sandell off and Winfield on for the Shots.

McCrory in the book now for kicking the ball away.

And now its the 105 from Dagenham that are making themselves heard, what a night it has been, and there are just a few minutes to go now.

GOAL - JOSH SCOTT MAKES IT 3-2

What a move and what a goal!

Pack fires a lovely ball down the flank from inside his own half, Thomas sent a first time cross over and Scott slid the ball past Henderson.

Amazing goal and what character from the visitors, you wouldnt bet agains them right now.

Hudson has been the weak link since he came on at half time - another piece of miscontrol sees the ball fly out of play.

Confidence is a funny thing, 25 minutes ago Daggers chins were on the floor, now they look up for the battle once more, and well they might.

Ooooh, Scott sends a volley inches off target after the ball came down from McCrory's header. Excellent effort, and that would have been some finish.

Corner for Daggers now

Roberts claims a Bozanic free kick, good handling.

Shots fans not happy now as Hylton goes forward but with options, shoots poorly off target, he's no Benno by that effort.

WHAT A GOAL - Benson makes it 2-2!!

That was purely magic - Benson picked up the ball just inside the Shots half, got away from Blackburn, drove forward and fired past Henderson from the edge of the box.

That was some goal, and who will win this game now, I couldnt tell you.

Green off now and Wes Thomas is on, three upfront for Daggers maybe.

Shots looking slightly nervy now and the hosts win a free kick, which gets bigger cheers than the two goals, odd.

Montgomery is immediately on for Nurse now, this could get interesting, especially with the officials decision making.

GOALFLASH - Benson pulls one back

Free kick given to Daggers to the ire of the home fans and management, swung over by Green, it beat the keeper and Benson thighed it home at the far post.

Ref is trying to even things up here as every decision is going in Daggers favour, but they arent making the most of it.

Reckless from Doe there, but it goes unpunished, while Charles puts a header over from a corner.

It could be a long night for the visitors.

60MINS: The home fans are in good voice now and why not, their team is playing well, excellent football and are 2-0 to the good.

Still no action from the Daggers bench though.

Better from Daggers though as Nurse is sent clear by Scott, but doesnt drive towards the box and his shot is deflected, while Pack sends an effort wide too.

Daggers have come back from 2-0 down before this season at Macclesfield, but it will take some doing tonight.

Attendance though as 2,053 with 105 from Dagenham, they are pretty quiet right now.

Just before that goal, Hudson was almost brought down by Roberts as he steamed through, while Hylton fired wide too. They are looking dangerous right now.

GOALFLASH - Donnelly makes it 2-0 to the Shots

Is that the match as Donnelly spanks a delightful half volley past Roberts from the edge of the box. That was lovely technique after a chest down from Hudson and Shots get their second.

Pack fires over the bar as the visitors look to get back into the game early on.

Second half underway now - Danny Hylton is on now for Marvin Morgan, no changes for Daggers though, which is surprising as Currie would be ideal today to put a foot on the ball.

HALF TIME There goes the whistle, a poor performance from Daggers to be honest. They will need to improve after the break and maybe a rocket from Still will work wonders.

Excellent corner from Green there, but Daggers just couldnt get a touch when it matters, another corner now though.

Charles fires a shot from almost 40 yards and it just, just crept past the post with Roberts beaten.

Corner for Daggers now as Nurse is giving his all, running straight at the defence whenever he gets the chance. Good delivery and Arber heads it over the bar.

All the football is being played by Shots here, their midfield two of Donnelly and Bozanic are very easy on the eye.

Nurse and Green have swapped flanks now, but its not really making much difference.

Free kick for Daggers in a good position here now, but expect the ref to blow as soon as the ball is on its way as a dubious decision.

He didnt need to though, as it was knocked back to McCrory and his delivery was dreadful.

30MINS: Morgan is a handful, while Daggers finally fashioned a shooting chance through Benson there, but it bounced tamely wide.

This is starting to look ominous now, its all Aldershot and they are knocking it around at will. You could have forgiven the home fans for bringing out the oles there as it was a good minutes before Daggers had the ball.

Straker is looking dangerous again, and lets just hope there isnt a repeat of the home match!

The hosts do deserve that goal as they have had all the meaningful play, Daggers are looking a little lost out there this evening, definitely lacking something.

GOALFLASH - Hudson puts Shots 1-0 up

Donnelly played a delightful pass into Hudson who was completely unmarked there and he took a touch before rifling the ball past Roberts.

The keeper was beaten at his near post, so maybe he will be slightly disappointed.

Finally some goalmouth action as Roberts saves smartly from Bozanic's volley, the midfielder showed excellent technique there.

Daggers need to weather this period of pressure now as the home fans are starting to get going.

Must be said, this is a poor game so far - both sides are struggling to get going. Shots happy to knock it from either flank to the opposite, but its not creating anything, while Daggers long ball is easy for the home defenders.

15MINS: Sniff of a chance for Green there, driving at his man just outside the box, but with players in good positions, he opts to go alone and the opportunity is cleared.

Stills voice just about drifts through the night sky, always nice to hear.

The hosts do look suicidal in their own half at times as Blackburn puts a horrible backpass to his keeper and Henderson needs two volleys to clear the danger.

Good spell from Shots here, they are knocking the ball round with increased confidence, as Donnelly looks to get on the ball, and Daggers cant get out of their own half right now.

5MINS: Good closing down by Daggers wins the ball again, but Shots are switching play and Morgan puts over a cross, although its far too heavy for Straker.

Dodgy kicking from the keeper Henderson has gifted possession away twice, something that Daggers might look to capitalise on.

Just to confirm too that manager John Still is in the dugout in his favourite cap, he does love the games!

Promising start here as Scott wins a corner and then Green plays a cute one two with Gain, only for his cross to go out for a goalkick.

We're underway here, Daggers kicking to the end with no supporters, and they have already got the ball wide, but Nurse cant get on the end of it.
